Eleonora is a professional and talented Singer and Songwriter based in London. After several TV appearances at RAI 2, the most important Italian television broadcasting organization, she is rapidly putting her sophisticated stamp on the London pop and jazz scene.
Eleonora has sang in many leading London nightspots such as The Ronnie Scott Bar, the Jazz After Dark, The Intercontinental hotel Park Lane, the Supper Club in Notting Hill and many others.
She has been very productive as a songwriter during the last year and she is also collaborating with London songwriters, focusing on her own music project. She has also attended workshops organized by Martin Sutton, a multi award winning British songwriter. On YouTube you can find a video clip of one of her first original tracks “Inside”, for which she wrote the music and lyrics.
She had a chance to meet and play with many top musicians and now she performs with Robin Banerjee, guitarist of Amy Winehouse. Eleonora and Robin performed in different venues and they also performed at the Fashion Playground organized by Vogue at the Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd Bush
Eleonora’s impressive previous experience has seen her feature as a special guest at “La Dolce Vita”, the most important Italian festival of the year with England Ex Manager Fabio Capello.
She has also featured as a special guest at “Miss Italia Nel Mondo UK”- one of the most important Italian events in London. Moreover, when she was based in Rome, she performed as a soloist on the main Italian Tv channel, RAI, in October and November 2010, on the TV show “Mezzogiorno in famiglia” and she sang with Katia Ricciarelli and Francesco Zingariello (very famous Italian soprano and tenore, during all the dates of their huge tour in the winter of 2010.)
In London she was invited to sing in the prestigious Gala Night of “La Dolce Vita 2010” .She was introduced by Roberto Perrone, presenter of BBC Three Counties Radio, after giving awards to Italian Celebrities, such as Fabio Capello, Beppe Severgnini, Lavinia Biagiotti. Eleonora was really appreciated by her audience.
She is known for her ability to express the deepest of emotions not only through the power of her voice but also the delicacy of her tone.
Moreover she graduated at La Sapienza University in Rome. She took a BA degree in Languages and literature, studying English, French and German. Therefore she can sing in different languages, also Spanish and Portoguese. In 2011 she took the MA in languages and translation and she got the highest mark: 110 e lode. She also won a bursary to study one year at the University of Warwick , UK, and research about her dissertation: the translation and the adaptation of the musical “Wicked”, translating both the script and the lyrics from English into Italian and adapting the Italian lyrics to the original melody.
